Maranjab is one of the most beautiful desert areas in Iran.Long sandy hills and arch forests have given special beauty to this area. Salt Lake  and wandering island are two other spectacular sights. It is worth saying that the wandering island in the endless ocean of the desert can be seen only for one or two months a year due to the rainfall in the region, but for the rest of the year it is not visible. Dastkan historical well on the East was a place where Caravans of camels used to drink. Maranjab castle is a caravansary located on the Silk Route. The aqueduct beside the Caravansary that has formed a big pond, fresh water and salt in the salt desert is a unique phenomenon .

The Maranjab Desert is located in Aran va Bidgol, Iran and around 60 km north-east of Kashan.
